Perfect Pairings, an exhibition at the New Ashgate Gallery in Farnham was a real pleasure to create paintings for. I have always liked Linda Bloomfield's pots and have used them in still-life paintings previously, so it was fantastic to have a collection of her pots to work with. I decided to use them exclusively in the paintings and to concentrate on their unique shapes and subtle colours.
